Hat Invasion Continues: Hats Of Fall Winter 2011 Season.

I thought that this particular time, hats presented on global runways were extraordinarily beautiful. I  loved the choices of hats for the Collections of John Galliano and Christian Dior in terms of the story told in brilliant approach to hat design. Then, I fell in love with very chic "cat " hats by Givenchy and then, I got lost in color pallet suggested by Gucci. Ultimately, it seems that jeweled tones and rich textures will be dominating Fall Winter 2011. This especially goes to felt fedoras in sublime colors of rich red, violet, emerald, yellow and just about any bright color you can think of. So, without farther delay, here is a summery of the Global Hat Invasion Fall Winter 2011.

I knew you would be excited about Fall 2011 as soon as I saw that Gucci collection. :) There were so many fabulous hats this time... I absolutely adore Gucci and Pucci because this is something I would wear plus Dior and Galliano for creativity and beauty (although there was that light tan hat with a rope bow at Galliano I would love to own... loved everything about it so much... )

I'm drawn to those cat hats for some reason (not that I could carry that look off for a second)
Sooo different though.

Oh my gosh, so many beautiful hats. Love the little fur hat with the bow on top (Galliano). Love the big floppy hats as well ... they really say fall in a luxurious way. Hope all is fabulous with you in your life, darling. Thank you for bringing us beauty on your blog ... always. xoxo

Each and everyone of these are sublime.I do wish that women would take to wearing hats again everyday as my mother did in thesixties. During winter I am so tired of seeing the shapeless things that we wear to keep ourselves warm. Can we have a hat just for the sake of it please?

Just love the wide brims, the black feathers and the playful caps - don't think I need cat's ears! I adore the Paris shows

Fabulous roundup my dear! The Dior/Galliano ones are stunning of course... it was the work of Stephen Jones, right? And I like the cheeky ones used at Givenchy. My other favorites are the Meadham Kirchhoff pieces.

P.S. Still so sad about the JG situation as well. I truly can't imagine the fashion world without his creations.

Goodness! They are all gorgeous, Anya. I imagine to wear half of them one needs to be super confident in one's look.

Anya, I always adore a glimpse into the mind of a genius at what inspires her or a review of upcoming colours and trends given by the one who is an expert...such as yourself. I often feel that inspiration and beauty can be shared by anyone in the world, but when someone (as yourself:) is an expert in the field...a professional...someone who has been trained in the specific area of their passion.... the meaning of their opinions and reviews is so much more valuable to me! I feel too often some people forget that, which goes for almost any area in the arts. All that to once again tell you how much I respect you as a true master of your craft.
Now as to these gorgeous hat! John Galliano's hats are absolutely stunning...the 3rd hat (with feathers it looks like) caught my vision immediately and I could not look away! I adore the subtle vibrance of the blues and greens, the shape...it's so beautiful. I also love all of the bright colours in the Gucci collection, and something of the simplicity in the Hermes hats really struck me as well. The Moschino hats seem sleek and chic and also loving Pucci!

So many amazing hats here...my sweet Anya I hope you had a wonderful week!
