Knitting Confidential.

Do you know the feeling of putting a great cozy sweater on a gray chilly day? This is exactly how I feel today. Sitting in my Atelier wearing my favorite sweater with a huge cup of coffee and wearing this hat you see on the picture below. :-)
I rarely have days when I absolutely do not want to work and today is one of them. Where is the Spring!!??? I have been waiting for it since January, I am exhausted! ...and the Spring is nowhere to be found...Maybe I accidently landed in Iceland or, perhaps, somehow flew to Siberia and forgot all about it? How else can I explain the fact that there is absolutely no sun? :-)
This little hat was actually inspired by the feeling that "cozy sweater" gives you once you put it on.Happy colors and lot's of doubt that anybody else will actually wear it one day. :-))) To make matters worse I received a call from my doctor with the results of my blood test which showed severe vitamine D deficiency. Normal person has to have it somewhere near 50, I have it at the level of 8.
I hope some of you have sunny weather because I think I am sarting to really miss the sun. I love wearing cozy sweaters, but just for once ready to give them up in a heart bit for a beatiful Spring day full of sunshine. :-). Wishing all of you beautiful week ahead. :-))) And sorry for complayning!:-)

Beautiful hat, I love the feeling of putting on a massive cosy warm jumper and having a cup of tea! I feel sorry for you as in England it's the hottest day we've had all year!

Anya, you do need some spring and sun to bbost that vitamin D! I love th hat and I adore big cozy sweaters. I am so lucky in the fact that I can show my mother a picture of any sweater and she can duplicate it for me. I used to knit when I was much younger and have been thinking of taking it up again lately. I will have to start on something simple like a scarf!

Chère Anya, the "Expert ès Glam forecasts who is kindly slumbering on me" is pretty sure that these (more elusive than ever) climatical whims (suddenly) can reserve you a lot of sunny surprises too !!!
ps: Nevertheless next to you this cosy sweater + fancy hat scenery sounds full of stylish promises I must say Dear !!!

à Bientôt, Antoine

Hello Anya, I'm so sorry I have been a bad blogger lately and am just now visiting! I have been in between packing and trips and just catching up...in the midst of more trips. I am so delighted to have stopped by today, because I can't help but be incredibly cheerful at the sight of this cozy sweater hat! The happy colours place me in the best of moods and I absolutely love the yarn and details!! That is awful that your vitamin D is very low! I also hope that Spring appears for you very soon! Thank you for inspiring me with this incredibly fun and vibrant hat design, I love it. Wishing you a more sunny day very soon!

Another beautiful hat, Anya. I live in sunny Southern California and I still have a Vitamin D deficiency. ...but it's still something that you have to take care.
