Hats In Action: More Editorial Coverage.

While mass media is busy  dissecting every little beautiful detail on the subject of Royal Wedding and its hats, I am still waiting for more pictures to come up to make sure I did not miss anything before posting my selection of the best hats of the Royal Wedding. Until then, I have decided to post more editorial coverage for my Atelier. :-)
LI Pulse Magazine ran "Garden Chic" editorial in its' May Issue and my little "Grace" hat got her shining moment in it. I have a little confession to make :
It never cease to amaze me how different stylists see my hats from what I usually have in mind. Every time I get a request for the photo shoot, I simply have no idea how it will come out at the end. But I also love every moment of this expectation and wonder! That was exactly the case when one of the most brilliant photographers I know Ed Hafizov requested "Black Swan" hat for his project Dancing On The Dark Side.
What do you, guys, think? The most extraordinary thing to me in this series of pictures is how on Earth this ballet dancer could hold her leg up while wearing such a complex, heavy hat!?
I love the darkness of it and its gothic glamour.
And I also love the fact that my "Black Swan" hat became a part of the wonderful fantasy on the dark side.:-)
I have few more very serious editorials coming out and can not wait to see the results of those :-) I am wishing everyone fantastic Tuesday. It will be a very busy Tuesday for me since I have several hats in production and several clients scheduled to pick up their hats. Such a treat to see happy smile on a girl's face when she is trying on her finished hat for the first time.:-)

Anya, the Black Swan editorial is amazing. I love the whole feel behind it. This must be the one amazing thing about being a creator of such wonderfil things. You have a pre-conceived idea about the styling and then someone else gives you a totally new perspective!

My dear Anya,

I must admit that I have been waiting and hoping for your post on the Royal Wedding hats, and now that I hear you are waiting for more photos first, I am even more excited to see your selection!!! Of course Eric and I thought about you the whole time we watched the wedding, and honestly I, myself, was drooling over some of the amazing hats and both Eric and I were checking out all the wedding attire!

I'm equally excited to see that your hats were used for these recent editorials, I am always so happy to see! I can see how you would be always surprised to see how each stylist will choose to display your hats! Perhaps it would be a way that you get to see your hats through a different creative perspective? It must be interesting how far from what you had in mind they sometimes style them! Your gorgeous "Black Swan" hat looks absolutely stunning in this editorial! The first photo is my favourite, it looks elegant, yet dark and mysterious, glamorous and beautiful! I cannot wait to see your upcoming editorials, and I hope that you have an amazing day with your hats and clients today!! ♥

many kisses xx

Hi Anya, guess what? while watching the royal wedding, I was thinking of you and the hats. I know you will write about the hats and scan the most fabulous ones from a lot of them. I was wondering what you think of Princess Beatrice hat and her sister's.
