Girls In Hats. Hats Of The Global Fashion Weeks, September 2011.

I am very excited to post another fantastic selection of "Girls In Hats" (and some boys ) photographed by the best photographers in street chic style during this past round of Global Fashion Weeks in September-October 2011. Tell me which hat is your favorite: is it  Iman's turban hat or a white hat with tiny Alexander McQueen's Armadillo shoes on top? Seeing so many fantastic head dressing approaches always make me smile. Beautiful mixture of creative innovations and vintage shapes - seriously, have you ever seen more delicious hat salade !?
I am wishing you all great Tuesday and hope you will enjoy looking through the pictures of "Girls In Hats." as much as I did. The photography credits are as follows: Tommy Ton for Style. com, Vogue.com, The Sartorialist, The Photodiarist. I am having a very exciting day waiting ahead and promise to tell you all about it very soon!:-)

It's a second photo that I love the most. I guess because I really love the shape and colour and the girl looks absolutely beautiful. Having said that I still think that every picture (and hat and a girl wearing it) are amazing and it's actually wonderful to see so many different designs being worn so well because each looks very organic with the wearer. I guess, it's the confidence and "organic factor" that make each hat something special.

P.S. Sorry my brain is going off as I type - had an absolutely exciting (business-wise) day today, but am totally exhausted right now. Still had to stop by as Tuesday is your day in my books. :)

Hello Anya,

Thank you for your lovely comment, it was so wonderful to hear from you. I have missed you! Your encouragement was inspiring as always too! Such gorgeous hats here, wow. The ones that I love the most are probably photos #1, 2, #4, #5, #10, #18, #19, #29, but they are all so beautiful!

Thank you for the inspiration and I hope you are having a fantastic week. I recently found a lovely vintage hat and wore it my recent post. Of course, I always think of you when I don hats. :) ♥

I always love these posts of yours on the various hats you see. I am kind of liking the red turban. A bit of 1940's glam with that one

hello anya, I have really enjoyed my lunch break today drinking my favourite frappachino and looking at all these wonderful photos. My favourite has to be the armadillo shoes. With only 21 pairs in the world, this hat must be worth something. I wonder who made them? Looking forward to reading about your exciting news.

Peekaboo dear Anya.
It´s a shame I missed a few posts but it´s so nice to have now the possibility to take a look at each and everyone of them.
... and I came right back in time for your beautiful streetstyle photos. I wish I would have the courage to wear hats or more hats. All women and men look stunning, each and every hat gives the look something special!!!

Have a lovely day ahead in NY, dear Anya!!!
Big hug!!!

P.S.: Mietz wants to call you :))
