The Hats Of New York Fashion Week. Street Style September 2012.

One of my favorite things I am looking forward to is the collection of street style images at the end of each Fashion Week. Unlike runway photos this images give you a taste of what is really worn to THE Fashion event of the season . Recently I came upon several articles which claimed that outfits worn by Fashion Bloggers for the Fashion Week are not really there choice. Well established fashion Blogger can get 2000-10 000 for wearing outfit carefully selected for them by the brands that hire them. Not knowing where is true expression of style vs. payed expression of style, I remain optimistic especially when it comes to hats.
Photographed by Phil Oh, Tommy Ton and Kamel Lahmadi, here is the selection of hats worn by the fashion crowd in New York during New York Fashion Week this September. My absolute favorites are turban wrap in the first image and gold headband on the last. :-) Fedoras seem to be every one's favorite, but to me they seem a little dull and over worn this season. I am hopeful that there will be more exciting hats reported form London, Milan and Paris. I noticed that Europe is far more in love with hats than NY. Will see. :-)
Before I will sign off wishing you wonderful week, I would like to announce a winner of Prada Triple Giveaway. It is my pleasure to send the prize to the wonderful Violetta of www.violettavmcreation.blogspot.com. Violetta, congratulations! Please, contact me via Facebook to provide shipping address. :-) Wishing everyone great week.

I love the Fedora also and I don't think it will ever go out of style. It's a classic and I agree with Anya it's very wearable and goes with pretty much everything. If I tried to wear the hat in the first picture, I'd just look silly.

Question, the girl in the last pic, is that Lady Gaga? I can't tell, but it kinda looks like her with all that hair and makeup she wears.
