First of all, I am looking forward to the Fashion Show by Leonid Gurevich which will take place this coming Sunday in the legendary Angel Orensanz Foundation-spectacular venue where Alexander McQueen presented one of his first Collections and Daphne Guinness filmed her notorious movie. I am so happy to present 12 hats of my new Collection on the runway with Leonid's phenomenal Collection "Tribute" to the attention of New York's press . Here you see Leonid photographed by Yulya Osina-Fridman and Pasha Setrova.
A bit nerve racking when you see the space of the fashion show because it has such a majestic beauty to it, such an air of time....On the other hand Sunday can not come fast enough - so exited to see my hats walk the runway. Majority of the hats selected were designed for my new Collection "Moskovita" and have never been photographed before.
Another event I am looking forward to is runway show by Philip Treacy. After years off the Runway he is scheduled to present his Collection during London Fashion Week. Can not wait and what a treat!!!
You have met the three hats of my new Collection "Moskovita" before I signed off for the Summer. Although this Summer was filled with sadness and grief, I have managed to complete my Collection "Moskovita" and even went a little bit beyond those hats that were planned for the Collection back in the Spring. I designed several new blocks and were able to move forward with hats that I wanted to create since forever.
I am also looking forward to receive the book by Miles Aldridge entitled "Pictures for Photographs". A true new treasure for my book shelf . A book filled with gorgeous photographs, fashion and fantasy from one of the world's most beloved lens-men.
Another beautiful event I am looking forward to this Fall is extraordinary collection of works on paper and photography that celebrates beauty, glamour and all things fabulous from two most captivating artists in the exhibition entitled "Beauty Endures: Studies Of Glamour and Intrigue by Paul Cesar Helleu and Cathleen Naundorf.
