Inspiration Points: Valentine Red.

Today I decided to take a little brake from posting about hat and thought I would come back to the never ending points of inspiration. It has been such a long time since I have posted anything about the sources of inspiration for my work. I would probably neglect this subject for a bit longer if not for my Inspiration board in my Atelier. Yesterday, I spent a part of the day adding to my board and caught myself thinking that I am still inspired by the color Red, just as several years ago. Perhaps because the Valentine's Day is just around the corner. :-)
Anyway, I am sharing with you the collection of images of the color that inspired me so much: whether it comes from the pages of Vogue Germany, Vogue China, Vogue.com, Guerlain beauty add, Dior Haute Couture backstage shots (courtesy of Dust Jacket Attic) or from the pages of my new favorite book about Louboutin shoes, the images from Alexander Mcqueen Collection and even few more images of my own work from past Collections. Red has so much energy and beauty - it is hard not to get inspired. To me red is always a kind of medicine ones imagination needs on a cold February day like today. I hope you love it too :-).

Dearest Anya,
Beautiful Valentine's Day inspiration!!! I love all the shades of red for valentines (really love dark wine with a bright crimson together) and also, the pinks, purples, whites and creams, even chocolate brown, all the lovely shades of favorite Valentine flowers and candies!

If you have a moment, may I invite you to my Valentine rose and violet cream tea here at The Tearoom?

Sending you Valentine hugs,

Betty
