Happy Ester To All Catholics Of the World!

Wishing Happy Easter to everyone who is celebrating it this coming Sunday with the periwinkle version of the "Imperial Egg" headdress I created in my Atelier.
“If man had his way, the plan of redemption would be an endless and bloody conflict. In reality, salvation was bought not by Jesus' fist, but by His nail-pierced hands; not by muscle but by love; not by vengeance but by forgiveness; not by force but by sacrifice. Jesus Christ our Lord surrendered in order that He might win; He destroyed His enemies by dying for them and conquered death by allowing death to conquer Him.” - A.W. Tozer  ... Ando so I am celebrating a day of light a day when the hope for the entire humanity was born because He has risen . Happy Easter!

Atelier's Recent Press: Numero Paris, French Revue De Modes , L'Officiel Indonesia, Zoo Magazine Issue #50 + The Magic Lens Of Lindsay Adler.

While  new updates to  my official website are in progress, I thought I would share with you the latest Press Atelier received for the month of March. Really a very diverse pool of editorial work. Top two images featuring "Alabastra" and "Garnet Rouge" hats were beautifully photographed by the amazing Lindsay Adler famous for her unique take on fashion lighting and experimental use of various techniques. I adore both. They remind me of night and day....
One of the top fashion French Magazine "French Revue De Modes" featured our "Bow Supreme" in the editorial for March 2016 Issue.
Photographed by wonderful Yana Kamps. I love white and black pallet painted with the headpiece from my Atelier and fabulous clothes by Saint Laurent.
One of my favorite editorials for the month of March came courtesy of Numero Paris.
I mean it is always a difficult task to put a modern spin on classic pill box hat, but I think it has been done amazingly well by the stylist Bill Mullen. Photographed by the legendary Greg Kadel.
L'Officiel Indonesia, March 2016 Issue featured two of the hats created in my Atelier: "Red" twisted fedora and jeweled "MousT Wanted" headpiece  which still remains one of the most requested pieces.
"Closed Circuit" editorial has been beautifully styled by Jahulie Elizalde and photographed by Paul Nacer.

Finally, amazing Zoo Magazine celebrated its 50th Issue with 5 amazing covers and fabulous editorials.
One of which is featuring the "Asylum" hat (currently in preparation to be displayed at Modemuseum Hasselt, Haute-A-Porter Exhibition) and "Ballets Russes" feathered veil beautifully modeled by Daphne Groeneveld. Photographed by David Roemer and styled by the phenomenal  Joanne Blades.

The Atelier at "Haute-à-Porter" Exhibition Curated by Filep Motwary at Modemuseum Hasselt .

Unbelievably grateful and so incredibly privileged to be a part of the phenomenal line up of true Legends whose creations are included in the upcoming Exhibition  titled "Haute-à-Porter" at Modemuseum Hasselt. What does one feel when contacted by the curators of the Exhibition requesting three of the couture creations from my Collection? - euphoria seems to be a great word to describe the feeling.

"From the 2nd of April until the 11th of September 2016, Fashion Museum Hasselt will present the exhibition “Haute-à-Porter”, curated by the internationally acclaimed costume designer, journalist and photographer Filep Motwary. Haute couture is synonymous with craftsmanship, luxury, extravagance and spectacle. But aren’t these typical features of contemporary prêt-à-porter? The exhibition examines this question further and researches the changing relationship and cross-fertilization between haute couture and ready to wear. Through a variety of themes and a selection of spectacular silhouettes and accessories from high end designers and fashion houses, the exhibition highlights the significance of haute couture for contemporary fashion. Completed with photography, film, art and music, Haute-à-Porter offers a unique insight into the fashion industry of the last 30 years. "

The line up of  legendary names for the Exhibition includes: Dior, Chanel, Erdem, Kenzo, Burberry, Lanvin, Rochas, Nina Ricci, Vivienne Westwood, Yohji Yamamoto, Givenchy, John Galliano, Gareth Pugh, Roger Vivier, Prada, Miu Miu, Dries Van Noten, Christian Lacroix, Delpozo, Mary Katrantzou, Jil Sander, Balmain, Jean Paul Gaultier, Viktor & Rolf, Alberta Ferretti, Thierry Mugler, Anna Molinari, Ann Demeulemeester, Comme des Garçons, Giambattista Valli, Balmain, Rick Owens, Blumarine, Undercover, Giles, Christian Louboutin, Thom Browne, Marios Schwab, Sacai, Alexander McQueen, Herve L.Leroux, Anrealage, Schiaparelli, A.F. Vandevorst,  Olivier Theyskens, Gucci, Iris Van Herpen, Stephen Jones, Alexis Mabille, Jay Briggs, Giuseppe Zanotti, Iris Schieferstein, Erik Halley, Norita Katatehana, Maison Martin Margiela, Roger Vivier and yours truly. Incredibly proud moment for me.
In addition to the exhibition Modemuseum Hasselt will release a book by Filep Motwary. -"The book’s beautifully appointed pages highlight some of the most iconic images reflecting the exhibition’s theme. The work of more than 30 internationally celebrated photographers and artists such as Peter Lindbergh, Vassilis Karidis, Miles Aldridge and Thanassis Krikis are also featured in the museum exhibit. Motwary also worked closely with renowned scenographer Lien Wauters, as well as the museum’s team, to set up the displays for the artwork, photos and garments, which include exceptional samples of historically significant handwork items from the museum’s private collection. What is essentially so unique about this exhibit and its accompanying book however, is that together they highlight the complexities of both Haute Couture as well as prêt-à-porter, without displaying one as being more intricate than the other. “By mixing Haute Couture pieces with prêt-à-porter in the same space, I don’t want to suggest comparison but to express the harmony between them,” Motwary said when asked what he’s aiming for. “I want this exhibition to be a visual evaluation where visitors will appreciate the work from both calibers and decide the verdict themselves: is there a final line between the two?” - Huffington Post Arts & Culture. As soon as the images from the Exhibition are released to us, I, of course, will share them with you. I also received two fabulous invitations courtesy of Modemuseum Hasselt for the opening night, but not sure if I will be able to make it due to previously made business arrangements.

Celelbrating Spring With New Additions To The Atelier's On-Line Boutique at ! :-)

The Spring is finally here. Somehow every year I am caught of guard with the discovery of the simple fact that the Winter is over. This year, for the entire Winter, we have been buried for weeks in the Atelier working on privet orders and special requests coming from all over the world. New Collection for SS2017 is already in production and it seems like there is absolutely no time. And so it feels great to take a moment to Celebrate Spring and International Woman's Day today. There is no better occasion than this to release new styles ready for Spring. I absolutely love working with wide range of styles covering the entire spectrum from subtle and more conservative to in your face fashion statements. You can see the entire selection of new hats listed in the Atelier's on-line boutique at . This season, I am in love with straw! :-) Well, you, probably, figured it out already! Lol Have a wonderful beginning of Spring everyone!
